ComED - Building Assessment Services

CCC performed an assessment of the building’s interior and exterior physical conditions of the ComEd Business Resource Center located in Oak Brook, Illinois and provided a final report. The report also outlined a budget cost estimate summary intended to identify and prioritize aspects of a maintenance and capital repair program that could be completed within an 18 month period.

CCC also provided construction documents for exterior masonry envelope repairs at the ComEd Maywood Tech Center. This project consisted of restoration of the exterior wall brickwork, terra cotta, and stone and roof stabilization. The project also included the replacement of fixed glass window units and glass block window units. 

Additionally, CCC conducted an interior condition building assessment at the Maywood Center. This project consisted of performing an interior assessment to document  conditions of technical areas, site and grounds, interior façade and finishes, roof, window and doors and MEP-FP systems.  The final report provided ComEd with documented findings, general recommendations for repair of systems and components observed, and estimated cost of replacement to assist ComEd in understanding, implementing and prioritizing repair projects.
